With almost three times the breaking strength of 2cm porcelain pavers, but just ½″ thicker, Archatrak T30 (3cm) porcelain pavers offer an unmatched alternative to concrete or brick paving in high traffic, commercial environments, including public plazas, pedestrian walkways, shopping precincts, pavements, sidewalks, driveways, and other broad area landscape paver projects.
Designed to handle substantial loading, T30 porcelain pavers can support wheel loadings of over six tons, allowing their use in driveways, parking areas, pads, and zones with light to medium vehicular traffic.

A standout example of this performance can be seen at Millennium Park in Chicago. The plaza surrounding the iconic Cloud Gate sculpture – better known as “The Bean” – welcomes around 25 million visitors each year, making durability and maintenance critical. In 2024, the original concrete pavers were replaced with Archatrak T30 porcelain pavers, installed over an FRP grid supported by Archatrak adjustable height pedestals, creating a long-lasting, high-performance surface designed for extreme foot traffic.
In addition to large-format 24″ × 24″ and 16″ × 32″ slab pavers, the Archatrak 3cm range also includes select colours in a 6″ × 12″ format. These pavers feature integrated side lugs for fast installation and consistent joint spacing, ideal for permeable paving installations where high aesthetic appeal is a paramount consideration.

Archatrak warrants that T30 3cm porcelain pavers sold by Archatrak are manufactured in accordance with ISO 13006 and will meet or exceed the performance specifications outlined in these standards.
If it is established that any Archatrak 3cm porcelain paver has a manufacturing defect resulting from it not being manufactured in accordance with the said standards, we will replace the defective paver(s) free of charge with paver(s) of compatible color and shade as determined by us.

3CM porcelain pavers offer exceptional durability and weather resistance, making them ideal for high-traffic areas like driveways and patios. Their slip-resistance ensures safety, even when wet, and their low porosity makes them resistant to stains and weather conditions. Additionally, they require minimal maintenance and retain their aesthetic appeal over time.
Compared to traditional concrete pavers, 3CM porcelain pavers are more durable and less prone to cracking or fading. They are also lighter, making installation easier. Their non-porous nature means they are more resistant to stains and require less maintenance, providing a longer-lasting and more aesthetically pleasing solution.
Yes, 3cm porcelain pavers are designed to withstand various climatic conditions. Their low water absorption rate makes them resistant to freeze-thaw cycles, preventing cracking in colder climates. They are also exceptionally fade resistant, making them suitable for both hot and cold environments.
Since 3cm thick porcelain pavers have almost three times the breaking strength of 2cm porcelain pavers, they can be sand/gravel set for most applications. For areas with regular vehicular traffic we would normally recommend using the 6” x 12” size pavers with lugs on the sides which provide consistent gapping of the pavers.
Porcelain pavers can certainly be laid over existing concrete, and generally even if the concrete cracked and worn. For resurfacing patios and similar exterior areas in residential applications, we would normally recommend using Archatrak 2cm pavers supported by fixed height rubber pads rather than 3cm outdoor pavers, since the extra cost of 3cm porcelain pavers would not normally be justified for this application.
