About Us

Archatrak is a national supplier of exterior porcelain pavers, structural and interlocking wood deck tiles, pedestal deck support systems, and fiberglass reinforced polymer (FRP) grating.

For over two decades, we have helped introduce and advance the North American market for interlocking deck tiles and 2cm structural porcelain pavers used in elevated and on-grade exterior applications. From elevated rooftop decks on pedestals to on-grade paving over sand or gravel, resurfacing of existing concrete slabs, and mortar-set porcelain paving for vehicular applications, we supply high-performance products and complete system solutions.

These systems are supported by industry-recognized testing and deliver distinctive, durable outdoor environments for residential and commercial applications.

We support architects, landscape architects, specifiers, designers, contractors, and homeowners with a comprehensive range of exterior deck and paving systems. Online visualization and estimating tools streamline product selection, dedicated project specialists assist with layout and specification support, and our warehouse and logistics center in Jessup, Maryland enables efficient nationwide distribution.

Our History

Over 20 years in the Building Products Industry

Founded more than two decades ago, Archatrak has played a defining role in bringing structural porcelain pavers and modular deck tile systems to the North American architectural and construction market.

2001

Introducing Interlocking Deck Tiles

Under our former name, HandyDeck Inc., we were among the first companies to introduce interlocking deck tiles to the U.S. market for resurfacing patios, enhancing balconies, and converting rooftops into usable outdoor space. For more than a decade, these snap-together tiles were our best-selling product for light commercial and DIY applications. Beginning with SwiftDeck Ipe wood tiles, the range expanded to include slate, granite, ceramic, stone, and composite wood options.

2011

Launch of 2cm Structural Porcelain Pavers

A decade later, HandyDeck became the first company to introduce ¾-inch (2cm) thick Italian porcelain pavers to the U.S. While widely accepted in Europe, structural porcelain pavers were largely unknown within the North American architectural and construction market at the time.

2013

Expansion into Elevated Paving Systems

With a growing focus on porcelain pavers for landscape paving and elevated deck applications, HandyDeck emerged as one of the larger U.S. suppliers in this category. To support the expanding rooftop deck market, we began importing Eterno adjustable height pedestals from Italy and developed rubber fixed-height support pads for low-elevation deck assemblies and concrete resurfacing.

2014

Introduction of Structural Wood Deck Tiles

To serve projects seeking a natural wood finish, we introduced structural Ipe wood tiles designed for pedestal-supported rooftop and elevated patio installations.

2019

Rebrand as Archatrak

In January 2019, the company was renamed Archatrak Inc., reinforcing our identity as a supplier of architectural exterior paving systems and related site solutions for commercial projects.

2020

Launch of Archasol

In late 2020, we established Archasol as a dedicated division focused on solar-integrated urban furniture and lighting products. Designed to support phone charging, WiFi access, lighting, and other utilities, these products address the needs of increasingly connected public spaces and are featured on a dedicated website.

2022

Expansion to StreetDeck Parklets

StreetDeck is a ready-to-assemble modular parklet. With its prefabricated components, modular design, and simple on-site assembly, StreetDeck offers the most flexible and cost-effective solution for building level, durable structures that install quickly and are easily disassembled. Utilizing our pedestal and paver system as a floor, this product addition was a natural fit for Archatrak.

2025

E-Commerce Platform

We expanded our digital capabilities with the launch of an online shopping platform offering U.S.-made porcelain pavers, structural and interlocking Ipe wood deck tiles, and paver support pedestals.
