While other adjustable decking pedestals often require numerous components to achieve working heights required, this streamlined solution using concentric screwed columns covers an impressive range from 1 1/4″ to 16 1/2″ with just three basic units. This consolidation dramatically simplifies inventory management on construction sites and eliminates the all too common contractor headaches associated with pre-installation pedestal height estimation and then having to deal with unexpected height variations on the actual site.

Broad Working Range

The PR1 model handles lower elevations from 1 1/4″ to 2 1/2”, which typically requires two sizes of adjustable deck levelers, addressing the crucial ground-level transition zone beyond the range of fixed height rubber pads. The exceptionally versatile PR2 model spans the mid-range from 2 1/2″ to 6″, which typically needs 2 or 3 sizes, covering the most commonly encountered requirement in elevated deck installations. The PR3 model extends all the way from 6″ to 16 1/2″, where a minimum of 3 sizes of deck levelers are normally required, greatly simplifying on-site inventory management.

Add-In Extenders Increase Working Height to 37”

For projects demanding greater heights, the PR3 model serves as the foundation for elevations beyond 16 ½” via add-in extension elements. A single extension increases working height to 24″, two extensions reach 30″, and three extensions extend to 37″, accommodating practically all elevated roof deck requirements.

Inbuilt Self Leveling Heads with Head Lock

‘Prime’ pedestals incorporate self-leveling heads as standard, automatically providing a perfectly level support for pavers where the substrate may slope in multiple directions up to 5°. This time saving feature eliminates the need for measuring slopes and then adding additional slope correction components either at the base or on the head of the pedestal. Need a fixed head? A simple add-in headlock component gives the option to switch to fixed heads for situations requiring extra rigidity.

Rubber Faced Heads with Inbuilt Spacer Tabs

Inbuilt rubber-faced pedestal heads provide superior acoustic dampening and slip resistance without the need for add-in shims. Integrated spacer tabs offer precise gap control between pavers, and can be easily snapped off when not required.
