Roadway & Driveway Pavers
For outdoor surfaces such as driveways and carports which are subject to light residential traffic, ¾” thick T20 porcelain pavers offer an attractive alternative to clay brick and concrete paving. The pavers will need to be laid over a prepared concrete base, but one of the major advantages is that you’ll have an unmatched range of colors to choose from. Plus porcelain pavers are exceptionally resistant to staining, even from oil and grease, and not subject to freeze/thaw cracking in cold climates, like concrete paving.
For heavier duty applications, we recommend the 50% thicker T30 porcelain pavers with over three times the breaking strength of T20 pavers. These thicker, stronger pavers can either be laid over a concrete base as with the T20 pavers, or depending on the anticipated traffic and loading, laid over a well compacted gravel base.
For a more dramatic, rustic look we suggest porcelain cobblestones, either in the 8″ x 8″ or 12″ x 8″ tile format or the smaller 4″ x 4″ but thicker, blocks.
See more information on these pavers for driveways below.
T30 Porcelain Pavers
Heavy duty, 24″ x 24″ and 1 1/8″ thick porcelain pavers suitable for moderate vehicular traffic. Available in a range of cement and stone look colors.
Hard wearing, frost proof and stain resistant.
Normally laid in mortar on a reinforced concrete base, but for lighter residential applications, can be laid over well compacted gravel with a thin bedding layer of sand.

T20 Porcelain Pavers
Featuring and exceptionally wide range of colors and styles, these 3/4″ thick pavers add elegance and style to all paved areas adjacent to homes including driveways, garages and parking spaces. Stain resistant, fade resistant and frost proof.
If subject to vehicular traffic, pavers should be laid in mortar on a reinforced concrete base, with gaps between the pavers filled with cement based grout.

Cobblestone Tiles
Rustic style 8″ x 8′ or 12″ x 8″ porcelain tiles, 3/4″ thick with hammered edges and textured surface. Ideal for driveways or parking areas subject to light vehicular traffic particularly where a vintage or heritage look is desired. Typically laid in mortar on a prepared reinforced concrete base.
Currently available in six colors.
Further information on cobblestone tiles can be seen here.
Cobblestone Blocks
Small 4″ x 4″ porcelain blocks 2 1/2″ high, replicating the look of stone cobblestones commonly seen in European city streets, pavements and alleyways.
Available in three colors – charcoal, grey and brown.
When used as roadway or driveway pavers, cobblestone blocks are laid over a concrete aggregate base with mesh reinforcing, either dry laid in a bed of sand or gravel and joints filled with polymeric sand, or for maximum stability, on a bed of mortar and joints filled with either polymeric sand or cement based grout.
