Precision Dimension Blocks with Rustic Appearance
Archatrak porcelain paving blocks offer a simpler way to create a rustic cobbled surface for pedestrian walkways or areas subject to regular vehicular traffic – driveways, laneways, roads or car parks. With a heavily textured surface and solid body color, these modular cobblestone blocks are aesthetically similar to natural basalt, but much more resistant, sustainable and durable. Unlike stone blocks, these porcelain cobblestone blocks are precisely dimensioned in both height and width which guarantees consistent spacing and height of the installed blocks.
Precision Size Enables Easier and Faster Installation
Natural stone cobblestone blocks need to be individually examined when laying to make sure they will fit correctly with adjacent blocks. Not so with Archatrak porcelain cobblestone blocks. Their consistent size means they can confidently be laid with minimum fuss and trouble.
Non-Porous and Stain Resistant
Because porcelain is essentially non-porous, it is exceptionally stain resistant, even against oil and grease, so Archatrak porcelain paving blocks can be used without any concerns with potentially ugly oil stains for driveway paving or carport surfaces.
Safe for Vehicular Use
For maximum stability, surface uniformity and pedestrian safety, Archatrak porcelain paving blocks should normally be laid in a mortar bed over a prepared concrete aggregate base reinforced with steel mesh. This guarantees the most uniform surface and long-term durability for vehicular applications.
For residential driveways and parking areas, our 3/4″ thick cobblestone pavers could also be considered. These 8″ x 8″ or 8″ x 12″ pavers are available in 6 colors and also feature a rustic look and textures surface. And for more heavy duty applications, in our 3cm porcelain paver range we have 5 color options in 6″ x 12″ size, all with inbuilt spacer nibs on the sides to facilitate accurate spacing when laying. In our 5cm porcelain paver range we have six colors and three sizes (4″ x 4″, 4″ x 8″, 8″ x 8″), again featuring inbuilt spacer nibs on all four sides.
Color Options
Two basic color options are currently available in our porcelain cobblestone block range (Nero and Grigio). Attractive patterns can be created with a blend of both colors, for example starting with one color and gradually blending into the second color. Each color is produced with subtle color variations, so that when the production batches of the modular cobblestone blocks are blended, the result will reflect the most natural look.

Over a Reinforced Concrete Base
A concrete aggregate base with mesh reinforcing is required as a base for Archatrak porcelain paving blocks in any vehicular application.
The modular cobblestone blocks can be laid on the prepared concrete base by either of two methods, depending on the application.
1.Dry laid on a bed of sand or gravel spread over the concrete base with the joints between the porcelain paving blocks then filled with polymeric sand.
2. For maximum stability over time, the best option is to lay Archatrak porcelain paving blocks in a bed of cement mixed with sand which is spread over the prepared reinforced concrete aggregate base. The joints are then filled with either polymeric sand or cement grout.
Archatrak Inc. warrants that porcelain paving blocks sold by Archatrak are manufactured in accordance with ISO 13006 and will meet or exceed the performance specifications outlined in these standards.
If it is established that any porcelain paving block has a manufacturing defect resulting from it not being manufactured in accordance with the said standards, we will replace the defective paver(s) free of charge with paver(s) of compatible color and shade as determined by us.
