Overview
On the north edge of Seattle’s iconic Lake Union sits North Lake Commons, a 60,000-square-foot modern office campus designed to showcase the best of Pacific Northwest architecture. Connecting the two primary buildings are a series of fully covered but open air, mixed-use bridges, known as Connectors. These unique spaces serve as bridges of course but also provide alternative meeting space and respite areas. When Weber Thompson’s design team set out to define a surface material for these hybrid indoor/outdoor environments, they approached us for a solution that could balance durability, practicality, and refined aesthetics.
