With a breaking strength of over 4 times that of 2cm porcelain pavers, and just 2 ½ times as thick, our extra heavy-duty, 2-inch thick T50 porcelain pavers offer a more stylish alternative to concrete pavers in demanding commercial environments, including paving for driveways and parking areas.
In roof deck applications, Archatrak T50 5cm porcelain pavers are the only porcelain pavers heavy enough to meet the requirements of ANSI/SPRI RP-4 2013, Wind Design Standard for Ballasted Single-ply Roofing Systems This code specifies that pavers installed in corner perimeter zones over a fully adhered membrane must exceed 22 lb/sq.ft. (Section 4.1.3)

5cm Porcelain Pavers for Vehicular Use
For driveway applications, our small 4″ x 4″, 4″ x 8″ or 8″ x 8″ pavers offer easy DIY installation, much easier than with traditional cobblestones or Belgium Blocks. The pavers can be simply laid over a well compacted sand/gravel base. Inbuilt lugs on all four sides of the precisely dimensioned pavers ensure a virtually foolproof installation, with all pavers consistently spaced and perfectly level with each other.
For parking lot pavers and other similar vehicular traffic paver applications, our larger 24” x 24”, 16” x 24” or 8” x 16” T50 porcelain pavers will generally be preferred.
The 90lb weight of Archatrak 24” x 24” 5cm thick porcelain pavers is comparable with concrete pavers, but the color options available with our T50 porcelain pavers give the opportunity to create environments much more aesthetically pleasing than with concrete pavers.

Installation
For most applications, Archatrak 5cm porcelain pavers can be dry laid by simply placing them in the desired position over a well compacted sand/gravel bed, without the need for any mortar, adhesives, or concrete base.
The general installation method is similar to Archatrak 2cm or 3cm porcelain paver installation method as described in our notes for installation over sand or gravel beds, although with the smaller size cobblestones which have spacer lugs on all 4 sides, add-in spacers are not required.

Archatrak warrants that T20 5cm porcelain pavers sold by Archatrak are manufactured in accordance with ISO 13006 and will meet or exceed the performance specifications outlined in these standards.
If it is established that any Archatrak porcelain 5cm porcelain paver has a manufacturing defect resulting from it not being manufactured in accordance with the said standards, we will replace the defective paver(s) free of charge with paver(s) of compatible color and shade as determined by us.

Not necessarily. Like 2cm and 3cm pavers used in on-grade applications, 5cm pavers are typically installed over a compacted aggregate base or mortar setting bed. However, for vehicular applications, the base design and preparation must be engineered to handle higher loads.
