Deck Support Pads – Fixed Height
Stackable rubber pads provide the most convenient and lowest cost means to lay porcelain pavers over existing concrete surfaces without using adhesives or grout. They also enable porcelain or concrete pavers to be laid at the lowest elevations on elevated rooftop before adjustable height pedestals can be employed.
The solid rubber construction of our pads offers superior sound absorption, enhanced shock protection and much greater slip resistance between both pavers and pads and pads and concrete, than plastic pads. Inbuilt spacer tabs ensure quick and easy laying of pavers and guarantee that the spacing and alignment of the pavers is accurate and consistent. Any unwanted spacer tabs can be removed with a sharp knife.
Pads are available in two heights – ¼” (ETE-PAD6) and 3/8” (ETE-PAD10) with a 1/16” shim (ETE-LGH3) used for micro height adjustments, either to correct slight variations in pavers thickness or to eliminate any rocking of the pavers.
Pads are typically stacked to a max. height of approx. 1 ½”, beyond which adjustable height ‘Prime’, NM or Incendio steel pedestals are used to build deck heights up to 30” or more.
If required, TW150 slope compensation twist rings can be placed over the pads to guarantee a perfectly level surface on the pads, although these rings are not normally used in most low height installations.
